Your Love Set Me Free (1:1 Special Frame)
This original digital painting was submitted and published in GENDERBENDER’s 5th issue. The theme was trans love and T4T relationships. I wanted to express how T4T relationships for me, whether they’re platonic, romantic, and/or sexual in nature, have been the cornerstone of freedom for me.
It’s important for me as a trans and GNC person to find others like me to establish deep, intimate connections with. Where I’m able to unmask and be my full authentic Self. I’m so grateful for the trans & GNC folk in my life who hold, hear and see me on a daily. Your love sets me free. Seeing other trans folk love on themselves has given me permission many years ago to love on myself hard. Community has made it possible for me to relax and open. Life is hard — but my t4t relationships have kept me going. Love flourishes in freedom, as I do in my transness.
13”x19” on glossy paper; framed in barnwood frame with gray distressed finish, 1.5” wood moulding and hanging hardwire pre-attached.
